The collaboration between D&W Ceramics and Nina Nino Studio started in October 2023 in Aurora, Colorado. With 30 years of experience in tile craftsmanship, Randy Winter, the owner of D&W Ceramics, combined his expertise with the contemporary design perspective of Nina. From that day, they began working every afternoon, experimenting with different colors and concepts, and letting the materials and results guide their steps.
This partnership was the perfect combination for discovering new perspectives in ceramics and translating them into tile designs.

Randall Winter, head of D&W Ceramics has been handcrafting designer tiles since 1996. The slight variations inherent in their handmade products lend to their old-world beauty while ensuring every piece of tile is as unique as a snowflake or fingerprint. They create one-of-a-kind works of art using a high-fire, robust tile body to make pieces suitable for indoor or outdoor installation in wet or dry locations.
Nina Nino is a surface designer specialized in material experimentation and furniture design. Her work focuses on creating high-end surfaces with an innovative perspective and superior craftsmanship for interior design spaces. What drives her is the thrill of discovery and the joy of bringing fresh perspectives to the world, creating connections and sparking emotions through tactile and visual experiences.
